Finnegan is proud to announce that 61 of its attorneys have been named to the 2025 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. Published by the District of Columbia Courts in collaboration with the D.C. Access to Justice Commission, the D.C. Bar, and the D.C. Pro Bono Center, the Honor Roll recognizes attorneys who demonstrate a strong commitment to equal access to justice by contributing 50 hours or more of pro bono legal service in a year. Attorneys who performed 100 or more hours of pro bono work during the calendar year earned placement on the High Honor Roll.
The 2025 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll recognizes over 6,000 attorneys authorized to provide pro bono legal services in the District of Columbia. Collectively, attorneys contributed more than 475,000 hours, with more than 3,400 honorees dedicating at least 100 hours of pro bono service. The attorneys recognized represent over 180 law firms, solo practices, government agencies, corporations, associations, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
Although Finnegan focuses on intellectual property law, its attorneys support a wide range of pro bono matters. Their efforts include litigating criminal and civil cases, negotiating agreements and settlements, and partnering with community nonprofit organizations to address critical legal needs. Through this work, Finnegan attorneys help give a voice to artists, children, older adults, tenants, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and others in need of legal assistance.
The 61 Finnegan attorneys named to the 2025 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll are listed below. More than two dozen earned placement on the High Honor Roll, denoted by an asterisk.
