Jordan Cowger focuses on patent litigation in a variety of technical areas. As a former federal district court law clerk, she has experience with all stages of patent litigation, from pre-filing to trial preparation.

Jordan leverages her experience as a law clerk to Judge Robert W. Schroeder III in the Eastern District of Texas to advise clients on all aspects of patent litigation procedure. During her clerkship, Jordan assisted with numerous claim construction hearings, jury trials, pretrial conferences, and motion hearings.

While in law school, Jordan served as an intern to Judge Amy Berman Jackson at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. She also interned at the Office of Unfair Import Investigations (OUII) at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). Prior to law school, Jordan worked on class action lawsuits as a clerk for a litigation firm in Kansas City.

As a research scholar during her undergraduate years, Jordan conducted research in an animal science laboratory focused on developing alternatives to antibiotics by inducing the innate immune system.

Jordan grew up raising and showing beef cattle with her family. Her family’s cattle business utilizes complex breeding and genetic technologies to maximize herd efficiency. Jordan’s background helped her develop extensive knowledge about the agricultural and food industries.
