Emma L. Capitanelli

Emma served for two semesters as a student law clerk at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims for the Honorable Eleni M. Roumel. She conducted legal research and edited and drafted opinions for cases involving patents, bid protests, and government contracts. Emma also worked at Finnegan as a summer associate, assisting in counseling matters and all stages of litigation in federal district and circuit courts. 

During Emma’s externship at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), she researched and drafted memorandum related to trademark, copyright, and privacy matters. Throughout law school, Emma was an active member of the Moot Court Board and competed at the American Bar Association (ABA) National Moot Court Competition.

Emma is committed to her pro bono practice, which includes representing honorably discharged veterans as well as clients seeking asylum.
