Mark Lampert, Ph.D., focuses on patent litigation in a variety of technical areas, with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology spaces. He also prosecutes patent portfolios and provides client counseling related to biomedical technologies.
Mark contributes to various litigation stages and is actively involved in all phases, including pre-litigation counseling and discovery. Mark also researches and assesses complex legal issues as well as assists with drafting expert reports.
While in law school, Mark was a Sidney B. Williams, Jr. Scholar. The scholarship program provides guidance to those in underrepresented groups who show a commitment to the patent law profession. As a scholar, he met federal judges and US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) patent examiners and attended intellectual property workshops. Mark was also a member of the Duke Law & Contemporary Problems Journal.
Mark is committed to pro bono matters. He assists veterans seeking discharge upgrades before the Board for Corrections of Naval Records through brief drafting and counseling.
