Caroline Segers focuses on trademark and copyright law, with experience in both litigation and prosecution. She brings a client-focused approach to protecting and enforcing intellectual property (IP) rights across diverse industries, including consumer goods, media, and automotive.
Caroline’s practice includes supporting clients with matters involving trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. She also works on false advertising and privacy issues. Her litigation experience includes assisting with litigation preparation, including discovery, motions, and appeals. Caroline has drafted responses to office actions and oppositions, prepared memoranda, and contributed to case strategy in trademark and copyright disputes. She leverages her experience to advise clients in federal district court litigations and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Caroline dedicates time to pro bono matters, including conducting research on and writing drafts for asylum cases. As an intern with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Caroline conducted legal research and drafted judicial orders.
