Olivia Santiago practices in all areas of intellectual property (IP) law, including prosecution, post-grant proceedings, licensing, and strategic IP counseling. She works with clients across a variety of industries, including the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, and computer software sectors.
Olivia drafts and prosecutes patent applications relating to pharmaceutical products, biotechnology innovations, chemical technologies, and computer software before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Her litigation experience includes developing invalidity and infringement theories, working with experts, and drafting petitions before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the USPTO.
Olivia advises clients on IP licensing and other commercial matters involving IP assets. Her experience extends to contract matters, due diligence, counseling on patent validity and freedom-to-operate (FTO) issues, and enforcement efforts.
Olivia is committed to pro bono practice, which includes representing disabled veterans in appellate proceedings as a part of the firm’s Veteran’s Assistance Program.

Represented Rocket Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in district court litigation involving claims of trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract against individual and corporate defendants and relating to complex treatments for genetic disorders. Successfully opposed motion to dismiss key claims and obtained settlement with all defendants following completion of fact discovery.
