WASHINGTON, DC—Finnegan is pleased to announce that 60 attorneys were recognized on the 2023 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll list. Issued by the District of Columbia Courts, the Access to Justice Commission, and the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, the Honor Roll recognizes attorneys who contributed 50 hours or more of pro bono work in 2023.
The 2023 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll list represents all sectors of the legal community, including attorneys who work in law firms, federal and local government agencies, corporations, associations, law schools, public interest organizations, and those who operate as solo practitioners. Attorneys who contributed 100 hours or more were named to the High Honor Roll list.
“Pro bono work offers attorneys a chance to give back to their communities by providing legal services to those who need it most,” said Charles Collins-Chase, Finnegan’s Pro Bono partner in charge. “Finnegan proudly performs pro bono work in a wide range of legal areas, including helping veterans seeking disability benefits, supporting asylum seekers, aiding tenants facing eviction, and providing post-conviction relief.”
