Lehman presented a “useful guide” to practice at the U.S. International Trade Commission. Greg Gramenopoulos also spoke on post-grant proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, providing “fascinating figures on IPR and CBM cases,” including findings that show so far, 70% of these cases are in the electrical/computer area, with only one patent partially upheld to date. A reception at Grey’s Inn capped the day's festivities. In his opening remarks, firm managing partner James B. Monroe said “it’s a good time to be a patent lawyer.”
