On February 2, 2022, the Washington D.C.-based National Football League (NFL) will reveal their new name and branding. The team’s re-branding has been long-awaited as they have tried to maintain secrecy while avoiding trademark infringement. Mark explained that Tonga and Mauritius have become some of the most possible spots for early trademark filings. He stated, “They’re ripe for this purpose because the registries can only be searched by hand.”
