Finnegan secured a victory for client Under Armour in a case against Exclusive Innovations Inc. over the company’s use of the “Life Armour” mark. In November 2020, Under Armour sued Exclusive Innovations, alleging they sold dietary supplements and fitness apparel under the "Life's Armour" mark that included a nearly identical font to the one Under Armour used, paired with a shield logo that looked like the initials "UA." After Exclusive Innovations failed to respond to the lawsuit, the judge ruled in favor of Under Armour, awarding $20,000 in damages for Exclusive Innovations’ cybersquatting and issuing an injunction banning the company from selling the infringing products.
