The AmLaw Litigation Daily
Finnegan attorneys Alissa Lipton and Cory Bell were recognized as runners-up for The AmLaw Litigation Daily “Litigator of the Week” for their work on behalf of Siemens Gamesa in a patent dispute with General Electric (GE) over wind turbine technology. The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts issued an injunction barring GE from making, selling, importing, or installing its flagship Haliade-X offshore wind turbines in the United States. This win comes after a Massachusetts jury awarded Siemens Gamesa a royalty rate of $30,000 per megawatt for infringement, or roughly $60 million, in June 2022.
