Inadequate 2000 Patent Application Support in 2009 Claim Against Dupont Corn Ethanol

Ruling in favor of Finnegan client DuPont, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a district court’s judgment as a matter of law, finding that a patent application claim by Novozymes A/S lacks adequate written description. Finnegan represented DuPont in this matter.
