On Thursday, August 9, Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. filed suit against Perrigo Co. for seeking approval to market an Acetadote® copy prior to the expiration of the original drug’s underlying patent issued in April of this year, U.S. Patent Number 8,148,356. Cumberland is represented by Finnegan in this matter.
