On February 7, 2017, Finnegan client Under Armour reached a settlement to drop a lawsuit against a company offering clothing for dogs under the name "Puppy Armour". Under Armour filed suit against S&O Innovations after finding out that the company was selling T-shirts for dogs that resembled Under Armour products. Under Armour had made several requests for S&O to end the trademark infringement, but the company initially had not complied. Under the settlement, S&O Innovations agreed to stop using the "Puppy Armour" mark, as well as any other mark with the term "armour" or "armor" in it.
