Micron Technology, Inc. et al.
Successfully defended Micron in a true "bet-the-farm" antitrust case involving synchronized dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) and double data rate (DDR) SDRAM memory during a three-month jury trial in San Francisco Superior Court. Rambus asserted claims for violations of the Cartwright Act and sought $4 billion in compensatory damages, trebled to $12 billion under the Cartwright Act, as well as other relief.
