Micron Technology, Inc. v. Rambus Inc.*
Micron Technology, Inc
Rambus Inc.
Obtained a ruling after a one-week court trial at the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware that Rambus, the owner of patents covering synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM) and double data rate (DDR) SDRAM memory could not enforce its patents against Micron. Rambus had claimed billions in damages. The court ruled Rambus could not enforce its patents because it had spoliated evidence and acted in bad faith.
