Finnegan partner James Barney will serve as the firm’s newest managing partner. He will start his three-year term on July 1.
As a patent litigator, James has represented Toyota Motor Corp. for more than two decades and credits his success among the firm’s partnership to building strong ties with colleagues on a variety of cases, rather than his control of client relationships. James said, “Finnegan has a policy that all clients are firm clients—we are not an eat-what-you-kill firm.”
