Finnegan is increasing its focus on Latin America as the region grows in importance in the global economy. Through its Latin America (LATAM) initiative, the firm aims to help businesses protect their assets and navigate international markets, especially in the United States. The project is lead by Finnegan partners Brett Heavner, Greg Gramenopoulos, associate Victor Palace and International Law Clerk Juan Pablo Silva Mir.
Brett spoke with Marca Sur about this initiative and what he hopes for in the future.
"Latin America is a rapidly growing market with increasing cross-border trade activity. On the one hand, more Latin American brands are looking to expand and protect their assets in the United States, while at the same time, US and global companies continue to invest heavily in Latin America's dynamic markets," said Brett.
“At Finnegan, we understand that success in global markets depends not only on innovation, but also on the smart and proactive protection of your intellectual property. Finnegan has long valued its strong relationships with Latin America, but we are excited to take that connection to the next level. Through this new initiative, we hope to build even deeper partnerships and provide tailored support for Latin American businesses,” he said.
