Finnegan Adds Jenevieve Maerker to Its Trademark, Copyright, and Advertising Practice

WASHINGTON, DC— Finnegan is pleased to welcome trademark and copyright attorney Jenevieve Maerker to the firm. Jenevieve will join as Of Counsel in the firm’s Boston office, focusing on trademark, copyright, and advertising counseling and disputes. Her practice encompasses strategic guidance for companies seeking to develop and protect IP assets, as well as representing clients in trademark and copyright enforcement matters, including litigation in federal court and proceedings before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board (TTAB).

Jenevieve advises clients in connection with global brand protection strategy, and her experience spans a wide range of industries, including life sciences, technology, consumer products, education, entertainment, and financial services.  She is particularly adept at helping pharmaceutical companies navigate the complexities of branding for regulated therapeutic products. Jenevieve is a member of the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Right of Publicity Committee and a vice chair of the Copyright Law and Related Rights Committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association.
