Christopher Johns Named AIPLA's 2023 Mentor of the Year

Finnegan is pleased to announce that partner Christopher Johns is the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) 2023 Mentor of the Year. This award recognizes a mentor who has positively influenced the growth and development of AIPLA members. Chris was nominated by AIPLA mentees and selected by the Mentoring Committee for his outstanding commitment and contribution to the mentoring program.

Founded in 1897, AIPLA is a national bar association that aims to maintain a high standard of professional ethics, to aid in the improvement in laws relating to intellectual property and in their proper interpretation by the courts, and to provide legal education to the public and to its members on intellectual property issues. AIPLA is constituted primarily of practitioners in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community.

Chris will be presented with the award at the AIPLA Annual Meeting at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor in Maryland, on October 19, 2023.
