Finnegan Named a Finalist in Three Categories in Law.com’s  D.C. Legal Awards 

Law.com announced the finalists of its 2026 DC Legal Awards, naming Finnegan and three attorneys as finalists in three categories. 

Partner Lionel Lavenue was named a finalist in the Winning Litigators, Defense category; Partners Gerald Ivey and Jacob Schroeder were named finalists in the Winning Litigators, Plaintiff category. 

The firm was named a finalist for Litigation Department of the Year: Intellectual Property. 

The D.C. Legal Awards recognize outstanding legal achievements, including major litigation wins, appellate work, leadership, community service, and firmwide accomplishments. Finalists and winners are selected based on judges’ review of detailed submissions and supporting materials highlighting the most impactful legal work and professionals in the market. 

The DC Legal Awards ceremony will take place in Washington, DC on October 20, 2026.
