Jacob Schroeder is a first-chair trial attorney representing clients in high-stakes patent litigation through verdict, post-trial proceedings, and appeal. He has led trial teams in complex matters across a range of technologies, developing and executing case strategies that resonate with judges and juries alike. Jacob handles all phases of contentious patent matters, including pre-suit diligence, discovery, motion practice, claim construction, and appeals, while focusing on positioning cases for success at trial. Experience
Promptu Systems Corporation v. Comcast Corporation
Obtained a $240 million jury verdict for client Promptu in a patent infringement lawsuit against Comcast. The jury found that Comcast willfully infringed Promptu’s patents covering voice recognition technology for TV.

Represented Unisoc Technologies Co. Ltd. in a patent litigation involving mobile phones and tablets. Secured a dismissal of the proceeding under Rule 12 with the Court holding it lacked personal jurisdiction over Unisoc.
