Jacob Schroeder is a first-chair trial attorney representing clients in high-stakes patent litigation through verdict, post-trial proceedings, and appeal. He has led trial teams in complex matters across a range of technologies, developing and executing case strategies that resonate with judges and juries alike. Jacob handles all phases of contentious patent matters, including pre-suit diligence, discovery, motion practice, claim construction, and appeals, while focusing on positioning cases for success at trial. This holistic experience allows him to align key strategic decisions with a cohesive trial strategy.

Jacob also brings to his practice distinct insights from clerkships at both appellate and district courts. He clerked at the CAFC with the Honorable Richard Linn), and at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California with the Honorable Lucy H. Koh.

Prior to his legal career, Jacob worked as a software engineer in the Unified Communications Business Unit at Cisco Systems, Inc., developing components for MeetingPlace voice-, video-, and web-conferencing software.
