A Virginia federal judge ruled in favor of Finnegan client Verizon Communications in a suit in which Spherix Inc. alleged Verizon infringed on its modular networking data patent. The judge granted Verizon’s bid for summary judgment and determined that the patent is indefinite under the Supreme Court’s Nautilus decision.
