Managing Intellectual Property Recognizes Finnegan as a Top-Tier Law Firm for Patent Prosecution and Patent Contentious Work, ITC Litigation, and Bio Life Sciences

WASHINGTON, DC - Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) released its annual survey of leading intellectual property law firms for 2012. The survey ranked Finnegan in the top tier for all four of the national patent categories, including patent prosecution, patent contentious, ITC litigation, and bio life sciences. Finnegan has been consistently recognized by MIP as a leading U.S. intellectual property law firm during the past 10 years, and continues to be applauded by industry peers and clients for quality of work, experience, and technical knowledge.

Regionally, the firm was listed in the top tier in the Northeast for patent prosecution and patent contentious. Additionally, for the fifth consecutive year Finnegan’s Tokyo office ranked in the top tier for foreign firms in Japan.

MIP is a leading international magazine for IP owners. It has more than 8,000 subscribers, of which two-thirds are senior in-house counsel for multinational companies. Annually, MIP conducts its World IP survey of 2,000 global practitioners (including in-house counsel and law firm attorneys) to identify and rank leading law firms in the IP field.
