Managing Intellectual Property Ranks Finnegan in Top Tiers for Patent Prosecution, Patent Contentious Work, ITC Litigation, and Bio Life Sciences

WASHINGTON, DC - In Managing Intellectual Property’s (MIP) annual survey of leading intellectual property law firms, Finnegan continued its long-standing performance of top rankings.  MIP gave Finnegan top tier U.S. national rankings in the categories of  patent prosecution, patent contentious, ITC litigation, and bio life sciences.

Regionally, the firm was listed in the top tier in the Northeast for patent prosecution and patent contentious.  Additionally, Finnegan’s Tokyo office ranked in the top tier for foreign firms in Japan for patents, and the firm’s Shanghai office, which was a first time participant in the survey, achieved a tier three ranking for foreign firms in China for patents.

MIP is a leading international magazine for IP owners.  It has more than 8,000 subscribers, of which two-thirds are senior in-house counsel for multinational companies.  MIP conducts an annual World IP survey of 2,000 global practitioners (including in-house counsel and law firm attorneys) to identify and rank leading law firms in the IP field.
