Law360 recently announced the members of their 2011 Intellectual Property editor advisory board, a group of IP professionals which will provide direction to the publication. Leslie McDonell, partner at Finnegan, has been selected to serve on this honorary board. In the announcement, Law360 gives McDonell credit for her “strategic counseling to clients regarding the protection of intellectual property in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries” as well as her coordination of “worldwide patent portfolio strategies, evaluates and analyzes competitors’ patent positions around the world, and advises and renders opinions on issues of patentability, inventorship, validity, claim scope, infringement, due diligence and freedom to operate.”
