On August 2, 2016, the Disabled American Veterans held their Annual Convention in Atlanta, where they recognized Finnegan for its pro bono and monetary contributions to disabled vets. Finnegan attorneys have represented vets pro bono in about 750 appeals of disability benefits claims before the Court of Appeals for Veterans' Claims over the last eight years, handling about 80 appeals in 2015.
Locally, the firm has also donated annually to the Shepherd Center, a hospital that specializes in medical treatment, research, and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord and brain injuries.
