On December 5, 2016, the Federal Circuit ruled in favor of Finnegan client Asetek, affirming a district court’s decision that CMI USA’s computer cooling systems infringed an Asetek patent. The district court had also awarded Asetek about $400,000 in damages and rejected CMI’s invalidity defense – all of which the Federal Circuit upheld.
