Managing Intellectual Property
Managing Intellectual Property contacted Finnegan partner Dori Hines for her thoughts on best practices regarding women’s initiatives and how they can assist with career advancement. Hines shared that Finnegan “launched its Women’s Initiative nearly a decade ago to provide internal mentoring, networking, and educational support to the firm’s female attorneys.” She went on to discuss the firm’s commitment to having women in positions of leadership and firm management, noting that the immediate past managing partner was a woman. Hines continued by adding, “The firm has many accomplished first-chair litigators, appellate advocates, and leaders in the new field of PTAB practice who are women.” She also mentioned Finnegan’s recognition by Working Mother magazine and the Women in Law Empowerment Forum as a top company for working mothers and a top law firm in the United States for women, respectively.
