AstraZeneca Reaches Deal with Generics over Crestor® Patent

AstraZeneca UK Ltd. announced in a statement that it has settled U.S. patent infringement litigation against Actavis, Inc. and Egis Pharmaceuticals PLC concerning a proposed drug containing rosuvastatin, the active ingredient in AstraZeneca’s anticholesterol medication, Crestor®. Finnegan represented AstraZeneca in this matter.
