Finnegan client AstraZeneca filed an infringement suit May 23 in the District of New Jersey against Intellipharmaceuticals Corporation related to their recent abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) seeking approval to make and sell a generic version of Seroquel XR® in a range of doses. AstraZeneca has asked that the court coordinate and consolidate this suit with six other matters pending in the court against other generic pharmaceutical companies related to the Seroquel XR® patent . AstraZeneca is represented by Finnegan in this matter.
