The BTI Litigation Outlook 2015 Report has named Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett, & Dunner, LLP an IP litigation “powerhouse,” recognizing the firm as one of the top three firms that in-house counsel rely on for high-stakes intellectual property litigation. The accolade comes as a result of interviews with 300 corporate counsel.
“Because we’re only dedicated to IP, it really allows us to focus on our client’s problems in a way that other firms, whose resources are perhaps a little more scattered, can’t do,” stated Finnegan chairman Barbara McCurdy. She also noted the firm's strong relationships with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and highlighted the firm's representation of SAP America Inc. in the first-of-its-kind victory before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
