Seminar

Patent Strategies for a Connected World

December 2, 2014

Stockholm, Sweden

Recent developments in the United States have redefined the patent landscape and created new challenges and opportunities for companies in the electrical and mechanical industries. For example, European companies may now be at greater risk of infringing a U.S. patent as a result of acts or components originating outside of the United States. Also, the explosive growth of new technologies and global business have caused some patent applicants to redefine their claim drafting and filing strategies.

Topics will include:

  • Claim drafting strategies for component or original-equipment manufacturers
  • Techniques and new tools for expediting your application through the USPTO
  • Patenting software, apps, and devices containing embedded software
  • IP strategies to overcome the challenges posed by new technologies, such as 3D printing
  • Reducing the risks of U.S. infringement liability for overseas manufacturers and developers

This seminar will take place at the Stockholm City Conference Centre. Admission is free but space is limited so please reserve a space as soon as possible. IPSeminars-Europe@Finnegan.com
