The Finnegan IP University is a four-week (1.5 hours per week) educational program providing an overview of careers in intellectual property (IP) and covering the nuts and bolts of the U.S. patent system. The program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students with a focus on attracting a strong pool of diverse candidates. Through this program, students will learn about the various types of IP rights, the basics of drafting patent applications, and how to prosecute those applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
