IAM interviewed Finnegan partner Laura Masurovsky for her reaction to the news of U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Judge Kathleen O’Malley’s retirement.
Laura said, “She’s been a thoughtful judge who wrote thoughtful opinions and gave a lot of herself. She gave a lot of her time participating on panels, in conferences, with judges from around the world.” Laura, who is also president of the Federal Circuit Bar Association, noted that O’Malley’s track record as a federal trial judge gave her a perspective and the confidence to hand down difficult rulings.
