Under Armour Sues Maker of Body Armor Drink for Infringing Mark

On April 26, Under Armour filed a complaint against beverage maker Body Armor Nutrition LLC for trademark infringement in Baltimore, MD.  Body Armor Nutrition is accused of infringing Under Amour’s trademarks for its water-based nutritional beverages.  “Body Armor is also accused of using a logo that is too similar to that used by Under Armour, and of using the “Protect + Restore” tagline Under Amour says infringed its “Protect the House” tagline.”  Under Armour is represented in this matter by Finnegan.
