The National Law Journal
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 8, 2021
WASHINGTON, DC—The National Law Journal recognized Finnegan as a top law firm for women on its 2021 Women in Law Scorecard. The firm jumped 62 spots from its 2020 ranking and is the only intellectual property law firm in the top 100. This recognition comes on the heels of being recognized as a top law firm for diversity by The American Lawyer and a Best Law Firm for Women by Seramount.
Finnegan’s commitment to gender equity is an integral part of the firm’s culture. In addition to external programs focused on supporting the advancement of women, the firm’s internal women’s business initiative, Finnegan FORWARD (Focused on Raising Women’s Advancement, Representation, and Development), was developed to provide education and training for our women attorneys; enhance marketing and recruiting efforts to recruit and retain high-performing women; and promote and identify business development opportunities for our women attorneys.
“We are pleased The National Law Journal recognized Finnegan as a top law firm for women,” said Danielle Duszczyszyn, co-leader of Finnegan FORWARD, alongside Elizabeth Ferrill. “We understand change does not happen overnight, but we are proud of our initiatives and continue to focus on the long-term benefits of our efforts.”
