The American Lawyer
London is an important market for many U.S.-based law firms. While many large firms, including Finnegan, have relatively small London offices, it doesn’t mean that their services are less-than-adequate.
Darren Jiron, managing partner of the London office told The American Lawyer that the office launched 31 years ago after the intellectual property-focused firm experienced success in Brussels
"We see it as a great opportunity because having the experience on both sides [of the Atlantic] allows us to offer unified strategies that might help solve, or get clients positive results," Darren said. "I think there are really some exciting opportunities here and we have plans to pursue those."
Darren said the difference between its London office and its offices in Asia is that the Asian markets are staffed with U.S. attorneys while the London and Munich offices typically have attorneys local to those regions.
