Finnegan has rehired another alumnus. Daniel Roland, who first joined the firm more than a decade ago as a summer associate, recently left the Justice Department to return to Finnegan. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, patent and trade secret matters and a variety of other matters dealing with technology and other industries.
Daniel told Law360 that, “Finnegan's reputation as a top-tier platform, and its handling of complex and interesting intellectual property cases were some of the reasons I wanted to return to its ranks.” He added working with his former colleagues was an additional benefit, saying "working with people you like makes a big difference," when working on IP litigation matters.
