On the fifth anniversary of the America Invents Act (AIA), 45 law firms collaborated to launch the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) Bar Association. The idea for the Association came about from a desire to educate practitioners and brainstorm ideas and best practices for practicing before the PTAB. Finnegan's Erika H. Arner has been appointed President-Elect of the new association.
