On Thursday, Judge Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled that Monolithic Power Systems Inc. (MPS) and ASUStek Computer Inc. were entitled to attorneys' fees in a suit with O2 Micro International Ltd. over power converter circuit technology. The ruling stated that O2 Micro “had wasted the plaintiffs and the court's resources by suing MPS customers, which prompted MPS to file declaratory judgment actions.” MPS and Asustek are represented by Finnegan.
