Managing Intellectual Property
In early March, Managing IP spoke with attorneys who work on patent licensing deals in the high-tech industry and discussed how they were meeting their clients needs.
Finnegan partner Nishla Keiser told the publication that she tries to bring an understanding of some of the pressures that in-house counsel and companies are facing when seeking to help them with licensing work.
“Management is always looking for some degree of certainty, and it’s really hard to provide that,” she said.
Nishla added that although business leaders will ultimately make these decisions, they’ll look to the legal team to make sure that the deals won’t “explode” in their faces.
