Human Rights First
On October 17, 2018 Finnegan was honored with Human Rights First's Marvin Frankel Award for the firm's pro bono efforts representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States. In just over one month, Finnegan attorneys prepared a case that resulted in granting asylum for their client who fled her country of origin after being tortured, confined, imprisoned, beaten, and starved in a cell because of her political opinion.
