Finnegan Partner Laura Masurovsky Appointed Federal Circuit Bar Association President

Finnegan is pleased to announce that Laura Masurovsky is the new president of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. The Federal Circuit Bar Association is a national organization for the bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The Association was organized to unite the various groups who practice within the legal community of the Federal Circuit and offers a forum for common concerns and dialogue between bar and court, government counsel and private practitioner, litigator, and corporate counsel.

Laura Masurovsky is a litigator with more than 25 years of experience in trial and appellate practice in federal and state courts and international arbitrations representing leading companies in high-stakes disputes across a wide range of industries.

Laura is a member of the firm’s management committee and previously served as head of the firm’s litigation section and as leader of the IP Specialties practice group. She has been recognized for her patent litigation and licensing work by The Legal 500 U.S. and Intellectual Asset Management. Laura previously held several roles with the Federal Circuit Bar Association, including as a Board member and delegate to the American Bar Association, Co-Chair of the Amicus Committee, and Co-Chair of the Litigation Committee. As a result of her contributions to the organization and the practice, the Federal Circuit Bar Association presented her with a Committee Leadership Award (CLA) and a Committee Individual Leadership Award (CILA).
