Finnegan Named a “True Trailblazer” for Its Continued Commitment to Mansfield Certification Process

WASHINGTON, DC—Finnegan is pleased to announce that for the seventh consecutive year, the firm is continuing its commitment to Mansfield Certification for 2024-2025. Launched in 2017, the Mansfield Rule aims to boost inclusivity, access, and diversity in leadership at law firms and legal departments. Since signing on to the Mansfield Rule in 2018, Finnegan has remained dedicated to ensuring that all talent at Finnegan has a transparent, fair, and equal opportunity to be considered for leadership roles.

As a result of the firm’s continued commitment to inclusive talent practices, Diversity Labs, the organization responsible for Mansfield certification, has named Finnegan among its “True Trailblazers,” an honor granted only to firms that have achieved certification and remained committed for 7-8 years. As part of the Mansfield Certification process, Finnegan commits to including at least 30 percent of lawyers and legal talent from underrepresented groups, including women, underrepresent racial and ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities, when appointing leadership positions and considering career advancement opportunities.
