Finnegan Attorney Victor Palace Named 2020 Burton Award Winner

Finnegan attorney Victor Palace was honored with the 2020 Burton Award for “Distinguished Legal Writing” for his article, “What if Artificial Intelligence Wrote This? Artificial Intelligence and Copyright Law.” Victor was recognized in the law student category. Award winners are selected from nominations submitted by professors at renowned colleges around the country to reward writers who demonstrate creativity, knowledge, and a true understanding and mastery of the law.

The Burton Awards are funded by the Burton Foundation, which recognizes and rewards accomplishments in writing, reform, public service, regulatory innovation, and lifetime achievements in the legal profession. The awards are cosponsored by Law360 and the American Bar Association.
