Financial Times
Partnering with Statista, the Financial Times included Finnegan on its 2024 list of leading patent law firms in Europe. The list is composed of the most recommended patent law firms for services around patent prosecution and patent strategy consultation in Europe. Financial Times and Statista surveyed over 10,000 patent attorneys at law firms and in-house, as well as clients who have consulted with or commissioned a patent law firm.
Finnegan's European attorneys maintain active patent prosecution, due diligence, portfolio management, and opinions and counseling practices. Our European team drafts, files, and prosecutes patent applications at the European Patent Office (EPO), the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (GPTO), and also under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Our European patent attorneys often work side by side with our U.S. attorneys to provide clients with strategic and cost-efficient coordination of their patent portfolio. Our substantial opposition and appeal experience enables us to prosecute applications with an eye toward enforcement as well as defending against challenges.
