Associates Rank Finnegan “Best of the Best” in BTI Associate Satisfaction Survey

BTI Consulting Group released its 2026 report titled BTI Associate Satisfaction A-Listers 2026: BTI Survey of Law Firms Where Associates are Happiest, where Finnegan was ranked “Best of the Best” in nearly all categories most valued by associates.

With more than 5,000 survey responses, associates recognize only 189 firms for excellent job satisfaction. The report analyzed more than 27 aspects of the associate experience and associate satisfaction, including seven core categories most valued by associates. No law firm submissions, self-referrals, suggestions, or payments were accepted. Finnegan was ranked “Best of the Best” in the following categories:

  • Helping associates in their career*
  • Access to training*
  • Opportunity to grow within the firm*
  • Partners invested in individual associates’ success*
  • Highest number of extremely satisfied associates*
  • Best paid associates*
  • Offering women associates best access to training
  • Best paid women associates

The firm was also ranked as a leader for mentoring associates*, as well as in various categories highlighting satisfaction among women associates, such as helping women associates in their career; opportunities to grow within the firm; and partners invested in individual women associates’ success.

The firm offers various formal and informal training programs, including the LEAP (Learn Enrich Achieve Progress) program, which is a comprehensive, in-house training and professional development initiative designed to equip attorneys with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and business acumen needed to succeed in a dynamic legal and business environment.
