Finnegan partner Donald R. Dunner was recently named Chair of the Advisory Board of the Center for Intellectual Property, Information, and Privacy Law at John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Dunner is a prominent founder of the present day patent litigation system and his many accolades include the National Law Journal's "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America," the American Lawyer's "Lifetime Achievement Award," and he is an inductee in Intellectual Asset Management's IP Hall of Fame. In accepting his new position Dunner stated, "John Marshall is one of the preeminent centers of legal education in the IP field. I look forward to assisting it in that role."
