Managing Intellectual Property
In March, Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), held their annual awards dinner, recognizing outstanding achievements in the past year from firms and individuals in 50 jurisdictions and regions. Finnegan received the first-ever U.S. IP Firm of the Decade award. MIP noted that Finnegan is “simply a powerhouse in U.S. intellectual property.” The firm also won the award for prosecution in the Northeast region as well as the U.S. national award for patent prosecution. Finnegan attorney Erika H. Arner received the award for Outstanding IP Litigator (Virginia).
The firm was also shortlisted in several categories, including prosecution, trademark contentious, copyright, specialty IP, life sciences and biotechnology, and PTAB. Finnegan attorneys Charles E. Lipsey and Charles H. Suh were shortlisted for Outstanding IP Litigator (Virginia) and Donald R. Dunner and J. Michael Jakes were shortlisted for Outstanding IP Litigator (Washington, DC).
